Hypnosis translated from Greek (Hypnos) means ‘to sleep’ and while in the state of hypnosis, a person although not asleep is very relaxed, in a trance like condition. Hypnosis is an altered state of relaxation & concentration at one with a state of heightened awareness induced by suggestion. It is a non-addictive power for the good & is a natural manifestation of the mind at work. Our sub-conscious mind will never accept suggestions that are against our will or our values.
